Publication Fee Policy
Naturae maintains a transparent policy concerning the financial aspects of its editorial process, emphasizing clarity and fairness in all communications with authors. The submission of manuscripts and the entirety of the peer review process are offered free of charge. This policy underscores the journal’s commitment to eliminating financial barriers and fostering equitable access to scientific publication, thereby advancing its mission to democratize science.
Upon successful acceptance of a manuscript through peer review, a single publication fee of R$ 150.00 (one hundred and fifty Brazilian reais) is applied. This fee encompasses editorial production costs, technical review, metadata preparation, and digital publication of the article.
Requests for reimbursement of the publication fee may be considered under specific conditions. Authors must submit a reimbursement request within seven calendar days following payment confirmation. Requests should be directed to [email protected] with the subject line “Solicitação de Reembolso” (Reimbursement Request), including a concise justification and proof of payment. Each case is evaluated on an individual basis, and due to the digital nature of the publishing services provided, refunds are granted solely under exceptional circumstances, such as billing errors or formal withdrawal of the manuscript prior to the commencement of the final editing phase.
Approved reimbursements will be processed through the original payment method. Payments made via PayPal will be refunded through the platform, while payments made via PIX (Banco do Brasil) will be returned to the originating bank account.
For additional information or clarification regarding this policy, the editorial team is available via the aforementioned email address.
