Scientific Notes
The Scientific Notes section includes reports and case studies that do not fit the article section due to their simplified nature, but must contain at least the following structure: Standard Pre-Textual Elements, Introduction, Report, Discussions and/or Final Considerations, and References.
Copyright Notice
While authors retain moral rights over their published works, all proprietary rights, including publication, distribution, and commercialization, are exclusively assigned to CBPC – Companhia Brasileira de Publicação Científica (CNPJ: 11.221.422/0001-03). This encompasses the global dissemination of the work, authorization of future editions or adaptations, and management of all derivative and subsidiary rights.
CBPC reserves the right to republish any electronically released content in print or digital collections, either independently or in partnership with authorized collaborators. Although authorship is duly credited, authors are prohibited from republishing the same material (original or translated) on any other platform, whether print or digital.
Special Provision for Artistic Works
An exception applies to contributions under the “Artistic Work Registry” section, which includes photography, poetry, music, and similar creative expressions often featured in journals specializing in the Arts or Music. In these cases, authors maintain both moral and proprietary rights and may formally request that their work be converted into NFTs (non-fungible tokens). CBPC oversees this process, enabling authors to commercialize their creations via platforms such as OpenSea and other digital asset marketplaces.
Privacy Statement
Naturae operates under core principles of transparency, editorial integrity, and shared accountability among authors, editors, and peer reviewers. The views expressed in published works are those of the individual authors and do not necessarily represent those of the editorial team or the publisher. The journal supports open access to its content, permitting readers to freely consult, share, and reproduce material, provided proper attribution is maintained, original sources are cited, and the content’s accuracy and integrity are preserved.
To maintain the highest standards of academic ethics, Naturae enforces strict anti-plagiarism policies. These include prohibitions against uncredited use of text excerpts, undisclosed duplication of previously published work by the same author, and unauthorized use of data, images, or intellectual property. Manuscripts are screened using similarity detection tools during the initial editorial review. Any violations may result in manuscript rejection or suspension of the author’s submission privileges.
Personal information collected during submission, such as names, institutional affiliations, and email addresses, is used exclusively for editorial management and is protected under strict confidentiality. It will not be disclosed or commercialized.
By submitting their work, authors grant Naturae the right of first publication and authorize wide dissemination through academic databases, indexing platforms, institutional repositories, and scholarly networks. All content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing reuse and adaptation as long as proper credit is given.
Authors wishing to withdraw a submission prior to publication must submit a formal request via email to the editorial office.
