The current work analyzed the cost-benefit relationship of implementing the photovoltaic system in a residence in Rondonópolis. Thus, in this work, a study was carried out on the economic feasibility of installing a photovoltaic system connected to the energy network via solar panels in a residence in the municipality of Rondonópolis in the interior of the state of Mato Grosso, with an average consumption of electricity of 325, 75 kWh/month. The budget for the photovoltaic system was made through the Electronic Simulator Portal Solar, plus the maintenance value for 25 years for a total of R$ 19.910,67 (all installed equipment, functions). At the end of the study, even though the returns had a positive cash flow, returning in the 66th month, the project became viable because it reached declared values, such as a positive NPV and the internal rate of return is greater than the minimum rate of attractiveness. of a financial application. It is possible to verify that the generation system, through the installation of the photovoltaic energy system, is an investment opportunity that can generate long-term benefits.
